The IEEE Computer Society Announces Participation at CVPR 2019

CVPR is the global event for computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 09 May 2019 – The IEEE Computer Society announces its participation at the 30th Annual Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR), the largest annual expo covering every aspect of computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This three-day event will be held from 18 to 20 June 2019 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Exhibiting at Booth #1249, the Computer Society will present its expanded and newly designed IEEE Computer Society Digital Library (CSDL), with a focus on its advanced search function that provides easier access to more than 700,000 articles including the latest research and seminal works on computing topics. Attendees can experience a demonstration of the CSDL’s new functionality and receive a free article download from IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence.

“We look forward to sharing the newly redesigned IEEE Computer Society Digital Library (CSDL) with students, academics, researchers, and practitioners at CVPR. This dedicated resource features peer-reviewed content covering the latest developments in computer vision and related technologies,” said IEEE Computer Society Executive Director Melissa Russell. “As a co-sponsor of this event, we are especially pleased to have the chance to share these demonstrations in-person and connect with members of our industry.”

World-class peer-reviewed research, content, and information from the IEEE Computer Society’s portfolio of magazines, journals, and conference proceedings  are more conveniently housed in the redesigned CSDL. Subscribers also have direct access to calls for papers, peer review information, and other resources for authors submitting to IEEE CS periodicals and conferences in the author resources section.

Co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society and the Computer Vision Foundation (CVF), CVPR 2019 is the premier annual computer vision event comprising its main conference and several co-located workshops and short courses.

About CVPR 2019

CVPR is the largest and best attended conference for computer vision and pattern recognition. More than 6,500 CVPR attendees will create a one-of-a-kind opportunity for networking, recruiting, inspiration, and motivation. Last year, more than 150 organizations featured the newest hardware systems, software, and career opportunities, with even greater participation planned for 2019.

The main conference takes place from 18 to 20 June, with workshops and tutorials on 16 and 17 June. The complete program overview can be found here. For information regarding papers, workshops, and event updates, visit the main conference website.

Registration information and requirements can be found here.
