The Big 50: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the ACM SIGGRAPH Conference

Started in 1974, SIGGRAPH is the leading conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques. This CG&A special issue features over 200 personal stories from more than 120 computer graphics professionals. The stories demonstrate the event’s impact on the lives and careers of attendees, many of them pioneers in the field.

The stories span five decades and provide a sense of how the field and its people have matured.
