Nominees IEEE Div VIII Delegate-Director-elect

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 1 August 2017 – The IEEE Computer Society is seeking nominees for the position of IEEE Division VIII Delegate-Director-elect. The deadline to submit nominations is Wednesday, 4 October.

Each year, IEEE Computer Society members elect a director-elect. The IEEE Division V Delegate-Director serves a year as director-elect (2019) and two years as director (2020-2021). View the full position description here.

All potential nominees must complete and submit a nomination form with a biography, a list of IEEE activities, and a position statement. Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.

The IEEE Computer Society Nominations Committee recommends candidates to the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors, which will select the candidate slate at its 13 November 2017 meeting.
