Your hard work shouldn’t go unnoticed. We are excited to honor our sales team's achievements and dedication to our organization. Your hard work and commitment have driven our success, and it's time to celebrate your contributions. Recipients will receive a certificate and paperweight with the year, name of award, and recipient.

CSDL Sales Awards for Performance

The performance categories below are based on the performance within the roles of sales, product, and marketing personnel. Awards will honor those who have made a major impact within our organization and have the numbers to show it. Read the criteria below to understand how awardees are selected.

Salesperson of the Year

This award recognizes an individual salesperson with outstanding performance and the highest percentage growth in sales. This award is calculated by measuring the highest percentage growth in sales across a team. The IEEE Computer Society staff will compare each team member’s sales from the previous year to the current year and calculate the growth percentage.

Top Performer Award

Given to the sales team that has consistently exceeded sales targets and goals, demonstrating exceptional sales performance and effectiveness. This award is calculated by adding the sales for each country’s team to see who has exceeded their target and performed strongly within their market. Market factors such as exchange rates and election years will be considered as they can impact performance and are outside the sales team’s control.

CSDL Sales Awards by Nomination

The following awards recognize those who have demonstrated model behavior such as team wins, being a team player, excellent customer service, or having an overall positive impact. Read below to understand the criteria for each category and submit your nominations for those who qualify here. In cases where a category does not receive nominations, recipients will be selected by the IEEE Computer Society staff. Self-nominations are welcomed.

Best New Business Win

This award recognizes a new client win that required persistence, patience, and/or creativity to close. This could have been a highly-ranked institution with a reputation for being difficult to close or a prospect with turnover, requiring the salesperson to restart the process multiple times.

Team Player Award

Given to the person who has demonstrated outstanding teamwork, collaboration, and support within the sales team, contributing to overall team success. To nominate someone for this role, submit a candidate and share their successes with us.

Rookie of the Year

Recognizes the new salesperson who has made a significant impact in their first year, typically measured by sales volume, client acquisition, or overall contribution to the team’s success. To nominate someone for this award, explain how your rookie qualifies with solid examples.

Customer Satisfaction Award

Acknowledges the salesperson or team that has received exceptional feedback from customers, demonstrating excellence in service and relationship-building. Submit a customer testimonial or story to nominate someone for this award.
