Nominations for IEEE-CS Leadership

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 8 March 2018 – The IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS) Nominations Committee seeks potential nominees of individuals who are interested in standing as a candidate in the Society's 2018 elections.  Nominations are sought for 2019 president-elect, first and second vice president, and Board of Governors members.

Important note: The IEEE-CS Board of Governors is in the process of amending its Bylaws to change the number of elected Board members from a total of 21 (seven positions elected annually for three-year terms) to 18 (six positions elected annually for three-year terms). If the required Bylaws approvals are completed by June 2018, the 2018 election will elect six rather than seven positions.

Strong leadership is critical to the vitality of the IEEE-CS.  On behalf of the Nominations Committee, it is requested that all nominations are carefully considered, and qualified individuals are recruited for the nominations slate.   Self-nominations are encouraged, as well as nominations for an individual.

For further details, including position descriptions and nomination form, please visit Call for Nominations.

Nominations are to be submitted to csnominations@computer.org on or before Monday, 2 April 2018.
