Incoming and Outgoing from the Editorial Board

The occasion of a new Editor-in-Chief was a good reason to check in with the composition of the Editorial Board. A number of members were reaching the end of their term, and a number too had served on the board for a long time. This was an opportunity for existing members to retire from their roles, and at the same time to recruit some new members.

I would like, therefore, to offer a great many thanks to the following members of the Editorial or Advisory Board who are leaving their roles. Their hard work has kept the journal running, and on behalf of the entire Annals community—authors, reviewers, editors, and readers—we are so grateful for their years of service. A great many years, in some cases!

Martin Campbell-Kelly (University of Warwick, UK)

Jim Cortada (Charles Babbage University, USA)

Peter J. Denning (moving to advisory board) (Naval Postgraduate School, USA)

Gerardo Con Diaz (University of California Davis, USA)

Jennifer Light (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA)

Mark Priestley (The National Museum of Computing, UK)

Corinna Schlombs (Rochester Institute of Technology, USA)

Lee Vinsel (Virginia Tech, USA)

It also gives me great pleasure to welcome five new Associate Editors to the board:

Bernardo Gonçalves (National Laboratory for Scientific Computing, Brazil)

Elisabetta Mori (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain)

Hallam Stevens (James Cook University, Australia)

Ksenia Tatarchenko (Johns Hopkins University, USA)

Honghong Tinn (University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Minneapolis, USA)

Their varied expertise in and enthusiasm for the history of computing will help our magazine’s exciting future.
