4 October 1884 marks a special day for all of us at IEEE ("Eye-triple-E") and the IEEE Computer Society. We commemorate it each year with IEEE Day.

Together with our sister societies, we celebrate the achievements of our global community by promoting more collaboration and engagement with new scientists and engineers.

As the world’s largest community for computer scientists and engineers, we have made it our mission to foster new emerging technologies.
