LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 31 May 2019 – The IEEE Computer Society (IEEE CS) seeks applicants for the position of the inaugural editor in chief for the upcoming launch of IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society (OJ-CS), serving a three-year term starting 1 January 2020.
The IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society is a rigorously peer-reviewed forum for rapid publication of Open Access (OA) articles (no more than a 10-week review cycle) describing high-impact results in all areas of interest to the IEEE Computer Society.

Candidates for any IEEE CS editor in chief position should possess a good understanding of industry, academic, and government aspects of the specific publication’s field. In addition, candidates must demonstrate the managerial skills necessary to process manuscripts through the editorial cycle in a timely fashion.
