IEEE Computer Society and Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University Sign MoU on Global Partner Program

Los Alamitos, Calif., 28 October 2016 - The IEEE Computer Society (IEEE CS) and the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University (NTUEE) announce that a Memorandum of Understanding on the Global Partner Program (GPP) has been signed today.

Under the agreement, NTUEE will promote training and certification of IEEE CS with the aim to enrich the curriculum-related activities in Taiwan. NTUEE will also participate in IEEE CS’ Curriculum Related Activities, and promote IEEE CS memberships and student chapters. Among its activities, IEEE CS is engaged in providing professional education, training, assessment, evaluation, and certification for computer professionals. IEEE CS and NTUEE agree to collaborate in the professional education area, including courseware, certification, bodies of knowledge, publications, conferences, and events, as mutually beneficial.
