Abstracts "Towards Trustworthy Intelligence: Blockchain as an Enabler for Agentic AI"

The integration of blockchain technology with agentic artificial intelligence opens the door to transformative opportunities across multiple sectors. This convergence enables more trustworthy and transparent systems, where AI decisions can be audited and validated on immutable ledgers, strengthening accountability and explainability in sensitive domains like finance, healthcare and supply chain. At the same time, blockchain provides a decentralized foundation for data sharing, allowing AI models to access high-quality information while safeguarding privacy and data ownership.Beyond trust and security, this combination can revolutionize operations in supply chains, optimizing logistics in real time while ensuring all participants share a single, tamper-proof source of truth. But the impact goes further: entirely new business models emerge, where intelligent agents can act autonomously within blockchain networks, execute contracts, and engage in economic transactions without intermediaries.Despite its promise, integrating blockchain and agentic AI faces challenges such as scalability, energy use, bias, and governance. Addressing these issues will be essential before broad adoption is feasible and to allow a sustainable influence on how organizations operate, toward more transparent, autonomous, and intelligent systems.
