TC on Security and Privacy

The TC on Security and Privacy (TCSP) is involved with operating system security, data encryption, access control mechanisms, database protection, network security, and other aspects of protection in computer systems. It addresses such issues as privacy protection legislation and its technological impact. It participates in developing standards in data security. It publishes a bimonthly online newsletter, Cipher and sponsors two annual events: the Symposium on Security and Privacy and the Computer Security Foundations Symposium.
