These rules, governing the Society and all its operations, are required reading for all CS leadership. These documents will also be included in your orientation package.
Computer Society Membership Applications
Only Computer Society members can receive TC newsletters and vote in elections. It is important for chairs to encourage their TC members to become Computer Society members as well. You will receive several membership applications with your orientation package.
TC Membership Applications
There are two Technical Committee membership applications now on-line. One form is for CS members and the other for non-members. You will also receive a hard-copy of a TC membership application with your orientation package. Please feel free to copy and distribute that application as well.
Technical Meeting Handbook
The Computer Society wants to help you have the best meetings to help advance the state of the art in the computer field. Organizing outstanding meetings takes the effort of willing volunteers. This handbook provides both advice and policy procedures for running successful conferences.
Volunteer Directory
The Computer Society Volunteer Directory lists the names and contact information for CS leadership on committees and boards. A new directory is published and mailed annually in May/June.
TC Expense Reimbursement Request Form
From time to time you may need to submitt an expense request form. If you are unsure as to whether an expense is reimbursable, please contact the Volunteer Services Coordinator before incurring the expense.

Student Travel Awards
Occasionally you may want to grant student travel awards to various conferences. Please send the information (including the award amount and list of names - including email addresses for each) directly to the Volunteer Services Coordinator and have the students follow the instructions on this page.
