Portable Applications Standards

Committee (PASC)

The IEEE Portable Applications Standards Committee (PASC) is chartered by the IEEE Computer Society Standards Activities Board to define standard application service interfaces - most notably those in the POSIX family. PASC was formerly known as the Technical Committee on Operating Systems.
