IEEE Computer Society Registered Education Provider Latitude Edutech to Offer Software Certificate Workshops
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 13 August 2013 – Bangalore-based Latitude Edutech, an IEEE Computer Society Registered Education Provider, will be offering workshops for the SWEBOK Certificate Program (SCP) in September.
The four-day workshops will cover the Software Development and Software Lifecycle Management modules. The Software Development workshop will be held from 17-20 September at a cost of Rs. 14,000 and the Software Lifecycle Management workshop will be held from 24-27 September at a cost of Rs. 12,000. A precursor to the Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA) credential, the SCP is based on the Guide to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK), the authoritative resource for software engineering best practices and knowledge.
The SCP is a 100-hour program of four modules covering 15 Knowledge Areas. Each module includes 25 hours of training, followed by an online test.
