OnlinePlus Subscription Prices Approved

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 7 July, 2010 – Subscribers to IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics and IEEE Transactions for Dependable and Secure Computing will pay 17 percent less than in 2010 and receive nearly double the pages under recently approved 2011 OnlinePlus subscription prices.

The Board of Governors approved the new pricing plan for the two scholarly journals at its meeting in Denver last month.

IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics will cost US $38 and increase to a monthly frequency and a page budget of 2,500. The journal publishes research on subjects related to computer graphics and visualization techniques, systems, software, hardware, and user interface issues.

IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing will cost $30 and move to a bimonthly frequency and a page budget of 968. The journal publishes research results focusing on foundations, methodologies, and mechanisms that support the achievement of systems and networks that are dependable and secure to the desired degree without compromising performance.

The OnlinePlus publication model is a hybrid of online only and print, giving subscribers the best of both worlds—online access plus a printed book of article abstracts and a searchable interactive disk that gives readers the flexibility of accessing content anywhere without an Internet connection.
