IEEE Council Requests Biometrics Tutorials
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 23 November, 2009 – The IEEE Biometrics Council is creating a list of tutorials titles and prospective lecturers for various IEEE Conferences. Those interested in suggesting a tutorial topic are invited to send a proposal containing the tutotial’s tentative title, the proposed lecturer’s name, affiliation, and email address, and a 5-10-line abstract.
The Biometrics Council strives to disseminate biometric knowledge residing within the Societies belonging to the council to make this knowledge more accessible to communities interested in the topic.
Proposals should be sent to Vincenzo Piuri, Vice President for Education of the IEEE Biometrics Council, at firstname.lastname@example.org by December 15, 2009.
