We developed the Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA) in response to requests from industry for a way to confirm the skill and knowledge levels of those just entering the software field. The CSDA validates an individual’s knowledge of the foundations of computer science, mathematics, and engineering and builds proficiency of established software development practices.

Recognizing the importance of continuing education in today’s software development environment, we created the Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) designation to provide experienced software development professionals with a respected credential that demonstrates their competence.

These credentials are important both to career development and to the industry, as they can help employers build a more disciplined approach to software development practices.
