Chapter Rebates

It's easy to claim your chapter's $150 Chapter Rebate!

What is the Chapter Rebate program?

The IEEE Computer Society Chapter Rebate program awards chapters $150 for submitting a copy of your chapter's Meeting Report forms. IEEE requires a minimum of two Meeting Report a year in order for a chapter to maintain their "active" status. These reports should be sent to your IEEE Section Secretary as instructed on the forms.

In January or February, simply send a copy of your chapter's Meeting Report submitted the previous year. In order to receive the Chapter Rebate, your chapter must have held at least two meetings per the IEEE minimum as stated above.

You only need to submit your Meeting Report once a year to the Computer Society. January or February is suggested, but they are accepted at any time during the year.

Your chapter may only receive one Chapter Rebate a year, regardless of the number of Meeting Reports submitted.

Chapter Rebates are given for Meeting Report of the previous years activity. For example, to receive your 2004 rebate, you can submit your 2003 Meeting Reports in January 2004.

How do you claim your chapter's rebate?

Send a copy of your Meeting Report, with a cover letter, to the IEEE Computer Society, Attn: Chapter Rebate, 1730 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20036-1992.

Be sure to include chapter bank account name and address!
