Standards Committee (EASC)

The IEEE Environmental Assessment Standards Committee (EASC) is chartered by the IEEE Computer Society Standards Activities Board to develop and maintain environmental assessment standards for electronic products, and to recommend practices and guidelines that include key concepts and implementation procedures relating to reduction or elimination of environmentally sensitive materials, materials selection, design for end of life, life cycle extension, energy conservation, end of life management, corporate performance, packaging and other environmental areas for electronic products approved by the EASC.
