Advertising Data

Classified

$110.00 per column inch ($125.00 minimum).  Eight lines per column inch and average five typeset words per line. No agency commission on classified line advertising. Send copy at least one month prior to publication date to:  Marian Anderson.

Inserts

Earned black and white page rate on inserts provided complete, ready to bind, less 10% for four-page or larger. Consult advertising department for quantity needed.

Web Posting

To post a job ad, register at careers@computer.org. The rate will be $399. for 30 days.

Agency Discounts

15% of gross billings to recognized agencies on display space, color and position charges.

Combination Rates

Advertisers using any combination of magazines published by the Computer Society and/or the IEEE, including other IEEE groups and societies, earn rates based on the combined number of insertions.

Contract and Copy Regulations

Publisher reserves the right to increase advertising rates without advance notice. Publisher reserves the right to reject objectionable copy. Cancellations accepted only after 30 days notice in writing and on payment of short rate. Last previous copy to be repeated if new copy is not received by deadline, regardless of cause for delay.

Electronic Advertising Files

Acceptable formats:

PREFERRED "PRESS-READY" FORMATS
Raster files saved as .TIFF or .EPS formats: Raster files can be saved from any of the image-editing software programs. Color images should be saved as CMYK, not RGB or LAB color spaces. B&W should be saved as Grayscale. All printer and screen fonts must be turned on.

Ad files can be emailed to manderson@computer.org or alternatively, the files (MUST be compressed) can be placed on our FTP site using the following instructions:
