Program Evaluators Sought for Degree Program
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 22 November, 2010 – Are you interested in shaping the future computing workforce while enhancing your own professional skills? If so, consider volunteering to become a CSAB/ABET program evaluator and contributing to the continuous improvement of computing education.
Co-founded by the IEEE Computer Society, CSAB Inc. is the lead ABET member society for accreditation of programs in computer science, information systems, information technology, and software engineering. CSAB recruits and selects program evaluators in these areas and assigns them to campus visits.
Serving on an ABET evaluation team for a degree program is not only professionally and personally rewarding, it is also an important means of giving back to your profession and supporting its future advancement. Applications will be accepted through 31 December.
