Peer-reviewed articles

Articles should be between 2,400 and 7,200 words, including all main body, abstract, keyword, bibliography, and biography text. Each table and figure counts for 250 words. For more information on presentation and formatting, please see our author guidelines. All submissions pass through peer review and editing before publication. CiSE does not accept previously published material. Please submit through ScholarOne Manuscripts.

General submissions: CiSE seeks general-interest submissions for publication in upcoming issues. Summaries of works in progress and descriptions of recently completed works are welcome, as are tutorials.

Department articles

These shorter articles are not peer reviewed. Department articles are typically up to 3,000 words in length, inclusive of abstract, references, bios, and all. Tables/figures typically count as 250 words apiece. To pitch or submit a department article, please contact the editor(s) of the department.
