3. CVPR Workshop Deadlines

ICCV 2011 will be held Nov. 6th - 13th 2011 in Barcelona, Spain.

Papers in the main technical program must describe high- quality, original
research. Topics of interest include all aspects of computer vision and
pattern recognition including, but not limited to:
- Sensors and Early Vision
- Color and Texture
- Segmentation and Grouping
- Motion and Tracking
- Stereo and Structure from Motion
- Image-based Modeling
- Illumination and Reflectance Modeling
- Shape Representation
- Physics-based Modeling
- Object Recognition
- Video Analysis and Event Recognition
- Face and Gesture
- Statistical Methods and Learning
- Vision for Robots
- Performance Evaluation
- Medical Image Analysis
- Image and Video Retrieval

All submissions will be handled electronically. In addition to the main
technical program, the conference will include Short Courses, Workshops,
Demonstrations, and Exhibits. Submit proposals to the appropriate chair.
Paper Submission Deadline: March 1, 2011

Registration is now open for the 9th IEEE Conference on Automatic
Face and Gesture Recognition. Early registration expires on Feb. 20th - so
register soon!

FG 2011 will be held in Santa Barbara, California on March 21-25, 2011.
The IEEE conference series on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition is
the premier international forum for research in image and video-based
face, gesture, and body movement recognition. The conference presents
research that advances the state-of-the-art in these and related areas,
leading to new capabilities in areas such as biometrics, interactive
systems, surveillance, healthcare, and entertainment. The FG conference
plays an important role in shaping related scientific, academic, and
higher-education programs.
