ITMC 2012 Seeks Papers on Managing Technology

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 28 November, 2011 – The 2012 International Technology Management Conference, co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society, is seeking papers on managing technology during a business recovery. The deadline to submit papers is 30 January, 2012.
The conference will be held 24-27 June, 2012 at the Omni Hotel Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. It is being sponsored by 14 IEEE member societies. For more information, visit
This year's theme is "Managing Technology during a Business Recovery." In addition, this year's conference will explore special sessions on university programs in systems engineering and management, and on financial engineering and macroeconomic modeling as they relate to management during times of business recovery.
Contributions may be conceptual, theoretical, or empirical and should document research activity, case studies, or best practices. They should shed light on the theory or practice of engineering, technology, or innovation management, and address the strategic objective of technological change.

The inaugural IEEE International Technology Management Conference (ITMC 2011) was held in June at the San Jose (Calif.) Hilton. It drew more than 190 people from 34 countries. Topics included management of innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, supply chain management, and others.
