Nominations for Second Vice-President

Responsibilities

The Second Vice-President position requires a one-year commitment. Candidates must hold Member grade or higher in the IEEE and have been a Computer Society member for the preceding three years.

The Second Vice-President executes a portfolio assigned by the President to achieve key objectives and attend to major issues and purposes. The Second Vice-President provides counsel and assistance to the President and other volunteers leaders, and provides leadership and direction for officers and Society programs. The Second Vice-President is third in succession to the President, second in succession to the President-Elect, and first in succession to the First Vice-President.

The  Second Vice-President serves as a franchised member of the Executive Committee, Board of Governors, and Planning Committee.
