More About Technical Committees and Task Forces

Technical Committees (TCs) and Task Forces (TFs) are networks comprised of international professionals brought together by common interests in computer hardware, software, applications, and interdisciplinary fields. They are focal points of the Society’s activities within a technical discipline and an opportunity for professionals to actively contribute to the computing fields by influencing society standards, organizing conferences, contributing to publications, and leading educational activities.

Membership in TCs and TFs is an opportunity to network and influence state of the art. Each of these groups ranges in size from 500 to 8,000 members and distribute technical information so members can stay abreast of the latest advances. Learn more about TCs and TFs and how you can join.
