# IEEE Computer Society

> Engaging computer engineers, scientists, academia, and industry professionals from all areas of computing, the IEEE Computer Society (CS) sets the standard for the education and engagement that fuels continued global technological advancement. Through conferences, publications, and programs, and by bringing together computer science and engineering leaders at every phase of their career for dialogue, debate, and collaboration, IEEE CS empowers, shapes, and guides the future of not only its members, but the greater industry, enabling new opportunities to better serve our world.

Content on this site falls into a few durable groups: membership and professional development; peer-reviewed publications and the Computer Society Digital Library (CSDL); conferences and calls for papers; technical communities and local chapters; volunteering and awards; and organizational information. Conference and call-for-papers pages are dated and are superseded each year.

The Digital Library at https://www.computer.org/csdl is a separate client-rendered application. Its pages are not present in the served HTML, so the publication list below is the reliable index of what it contains. Its URL patterns are: https://www.computer.org/csdl/journal/{code} and /csdl/magazine/{code} for a periodical's home page (codes listed below), /csdl/proceedings/{group} for a conference proceedings series, and /csdl/10.1109/{doi-suffix} to resolve an IEEE DOI directly to its article page.
