The development of vacuum casting equipment and vacuum casting technology at home and abroad are summarized; key techniques and technical difficulties that affect the quality of the product and efficiency in the casting process are analyzed in this paper. Based on this, this paper puts forward a new design of new automatic vacuum casting system and gives a detail analysis of the modules in the system, including human-machine interface, PLC control system, sensing detection device and part of the actuator. Each module is given an introduction and a related design method. The realization of the automatic vacuum casting system, can real-time detect and effectively eliminate bubbles in the mixed materials, can provide the corresponding optimal craft parameters according to the mould and modeling materials. In a word, the efficiency and quality of the products can be improved and the dependency of experience parameters can be reduced.
