The number of the Thyroid Cancer cells counting in the microscopic slice is very common used in anatomic diagnosis. Within the cell counting, the boundary of the cell must be recognized. In the recent, many methods for the boundary detection have been described and applied in microscopic slice analysis. However, no one could be counted quite accurately since the gray-level in the nuclei are uneven and some are similarly to the background. Now, we propose a Fuzzy Edge Detection Method based on an improved Generalized Fuzzy Operator. The method can be enhanced the nuclei which is similar to the background gray-level and effectively to separate the cells in the background image.
