Calibration of hydrological models is an essential step for these models to simulate real world conditions as close as possible. Calibration is a tedious and timeconsuming process. An auto-calibration algorithm developed by Duan et al. has been successfully used in hydrological modeling area. This algorithm suffers from high computational cost for complex hydrological models. In this study, the current serial version of this algorithm is modified to a parallel version and validated using simple functions.
