Scientists and engineers are focusing to purify industrial and other polluted water for drinking, industrial and agriculture purposes. High Voltages are being used to invent different techniques for purification of industrial waste water. In this research, a high voltage Corona discharge method is proposed for the treatment of industrial waste water. The aim is to achieve microbial disinfection, removal of organic impurities, removal of toxicity i.e. salts of heavy metals (compounds of lead, iron, nickel and chromium) and de colorization. The method is based on the use of corona discharge above water. The discharge above water is an efficient source for production of ozone, advance oxidation, ultraviolet radiation and various active particles (OH radical, atomic oxygen, active molecules and excited particles).
