Video is the predominant data traversing theInternet. Increase in processing power, storage and screenresolution of mobile devices coupled with advances incommunication technologies has resulted in proliferation of videoapplications. Multiple data interfaces on a mobile device cansupport parallel data streams for high bandwidth and delaysensitive video streaming application. This paper investigatescombination of rateless codes with multi priority scalable video tooptimize data flow along multiple paths in mobile devices. Theresults show improved video quality and better resourceutilization.
