Generator dynamic simulation physical was set up with SIMPACK multi-body dynamics software. Non-linear feature of bearing and the influence of elastic support on generator were researched. Results showed that the alteration of bearing stiffness would significantly change the natural frequency of the generator rotor, and may cause resonance with power grid. The variation of the elastic support stiffness would change the generator stand natural frequency.
