<p>Managing packets in a distributed multimedia environment involves coordinating and synchronizing multiple data streams. The Ensembles Coordination Program provides the required coordination, reduces delay using path selection and message rebroadcasting, and allows the end application to manage the synchronization within the streams.</p>
