As the second half of 2008 ensues, we look forward to a sustained level of activity and visibility for the rest of this year and beyond. Our online newsletter includes unique summaries of emerging conferences around the world, first-view opinions on emerging and technology-market topics, and summaries of our own meetings and events. Our collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society and the Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA) remains strong. In fact, we are helping CEDA launch a new worldwide chip design certification program, and we are progressing with our emerging online activities. Finally, our website keeps improving, thanks to our online chair, Joe Damore.
For more details, please see our online newsletter at http://tab.computer.org/datcnewsletterq208.pdf, where you can also find instructions on how to submit contributions. We look forward to more growth and excitement in the months ahead.
Please don't forget to visit our website at http://tab.computer.org/datc. We appreciate all comments. I am the webmaster, and you can reach me at the e-mail given at the end of this column. I did have a Guestbook page, but it was inundated with a lot of trash, so we had to close it. If I get enough requests, I can reopen it. For those interested in keeping the Guestbook, this is your last chance; so, please let me know if this is something you'd like us to offer.
