ABSTRACT
<p>Comparing the architectures and performance levels of an Nvidia Fermi accelerator with an Intel MIC Architecture coprocessor demonstrates the benefit of the coprocessor for bringing highly parallel applications into, or even beyond, GPGPU performance regions.</p>
