ABSTRACT
In the course of a long career as engineer, software programmer, and entrepreneur, Charles Fogart had become proficient at discerning anomalies. He was surprised to discover a glaring anomaly in the middle of the Pacific, halfway through a solo voyage from Honolulu to Sydney in his sloop Eureka.
