Winter Simulation Conference

WSC 05, the 10th Winter Simulation Conference, will take place from 4-7 December at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This year's conference features keynote speaker US Army Colonel Nancy J. Currie, a mission specialist astronaut on NASA's Space Shuttle.

WSC 05 will offer a comprehensive program that ranges from introductory tutorials to presentations on state-of-the-art research and practice. The conference also includes student presentations, vendor exhibits, training sessions by software vendors, and business meetings for professional societies and software user groups. Conference organizers are also rolling out a new event this year: the Simulation for Managers workshop. Last year's well-received Case Studies tutorial track will return for 2005.

Early registration (before 7 November) is $395 for IEEE members and $100 for full-time students. For further information on WSC 05, visit
