Issue No. 11 - November (1977 vol. 10)
Computer Society members have not nominated their IEEE-CS associates for the Fellow grade with the same zeal as other IEEE group and society members. The Computer Society, substantially larger than other IEEE societies, has only a fraction of the number of nominees compared with the other larger societies. The innovations and successes in the computer field demonstrate that there is no lack of qualified candidates. The aurhor urges a concerted effort to bring Fellow recognition to our most accomplished members. If you're an IEEE Senior Member or a Fellow, you can submit a nomination. Please take a moment and think about who you think deserves consideration. Also pass along this appeal to your IEEE Computer Society acquaintances.
