ABSTRACT
This issue features articles on the Soviet computer hobby movement of the 1980s, an overview of the history of computing in India in the period 1955-2010, an insightful and very personal history of the IBM Sales School by James Cortada, a look at how technical workers learned to use slide rules in the 19th century, and an analysis of the production and interpretation of early ARPANET maps.
