Future Innovators Unite: IEEE Computer Society Juniors Program Empowers Students with AI Knowledge

70 pre-college students gathered for the IEEE Computer Society (CS) Juniors Program in Sayama, Japan. Over two days, these junior, middle, and high school students experienced the excitement of programming and artificial intelligence (AI) through creative, hands-on activities like game development and virtual reality.

CS Juniors

The IEEE Computer Society Juniors Program (CS Juniors) encourages K-12 students to explore STEM through interactive learning opportunities while fostering lasting relationships between students, educators, volunteers, and IEEE members. Learn more about CS Juniors.

Emerging Technology Fund

The Emerging Tech Grant Fund offers financial support for innovative projects that connect emerging technologies with the computing community or use tech to benefit humanity. Whether it’s a new program, event, or activity, these ideas should break new ground and explore fresh possibilities. Learn more about the fund and past projects.

Diversity & Inclusion Fund

The Diversity and Inclusion Fund champions initiatives that broaden participation within computer science and engineering communities. These initiatives may encompass mentorship programs, panel discussions, awards, fellowships, and webinars, all aimed at fostering participation in computing.
