Post Your Internship Opportunity on the IEEE-CS Jobs Board

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 9 November, 2011 – In an effort to provide more opportunities to graduating seniors, the IEEE Computer Society is offering free two-month internship listings on the IEEE Computer Society Jobs Board. To take advantage of the offer and recruit highly qualified seasonal or summer interns, go to and log in or register for an employer account at Select the Internship job level. The offer is available throughout 2012.
Job hunters are also invited to post their resumes on the IEEE Computer Society Jobs Board so that they can be easily found by potential employers. Those who post their resume on the Jobs Board by 30 December can be entered in a drawing to win an iPod.
The IEEE Computer Society Jobs Board helps computing professionals easily find new jobs in IT, software development, computer engineering, research, architecture, databases, and other computing-related areas.
The jobs board provides employers with a targeted source of potential computing and engineering candidates. It helps employers find the best and brightest computing professionals for open positions.
Employers who advertise on jobs boards aimed at a broad audience might receive hundreds of resumes—all but a handful from unqualified candidates. In contrast, job listings on targeted sites such as the Computer Society Jobs Board might yield fewer resumes overall, but a higher number of qualified candidates.
Employers can use the site to post job openings and view resumes, while job seekers can post their resumes, peruse job openings, sign up for job alerts, and view helpful articles.
The IEEE Computer Society operates the online jobs board in partnership with the American Institute of Physics. The Computer Society represents nearly 85,000 members around the world, while AIP serves a global audience of 120,000 scientists and engineers.
AIP has been operating an online jobs board since 1993 and offering jobs boards to a society of network partners since 2003. In partnership with the Computer Society, AIP co-publishes Computing in Science and Engineering (CiSE) magazine, which covers computational science and engineering research for a broad range of technical fields.
