Christina M. Schober

Biography. Christina M. Schober is currently the IEEE Computer Society Assistant Treasurer and IEEE Computer Society T&C Secretary, IEEE Sensors Council Past-President, and a member of the 2013 IEEE Tellers committee.
She won the 2013 IEEE Sensors Council Meritorious Service Award, is an IEEE CS Golden Core Member, and in 1990 was named the IEEE Twin Cities Section Young Engineer of the Year.
Chris has been an active member in the IEEE Computer Society since 1984.
Chris has volunteered at many levels of the IEEE Computer Society and IEEE: Computer Society Chapter Treasurer/Secretary/Vice Chair/Chair, IEEE Section Vice Chair/Chair, IEEE Computer Society Membership Board as an Area Coordinator and later Vice President, Technical and Conference Activities Board Member, IEEE CS BOG member for multiple terms, and IEEE Sensors Council President 2010-2011.
Christina Schober is a Honeywell Staff Engineer and Product Team Leader for the Tactical Ring Laser Gyro in the Aerospace Division. She is a Certified Honeywell Six Sigma Blackbelt, holds eight US patents, multiple international patents, and five atomic clock-related patent applications in process. Chris has a Professional Masters of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
