A video blog is good ... seeing an individual presenting provides a more personal sense connection than a simple text Blog.

The main limitation of Twitter is that the comments have a short life .... good for "what's now" ... but not for trying to carry on a discussion or have a record of what has been.

Good Start!
I think one of the interesting things about current communication is its variety. We have a huge number of different communication channels available, and each has its place. Video blogs, text blogs, email, forums, wikis, instant messages, phone calls, text messages, twitter, books, magazines, e-book readers, etc. -- each has a niche where it facilitates a kind of communication.

One of the challenges for the Computer Society is to be able to participate in a broad range of communication techniques effectively.
