2004 SWEBOK Guide - Ironman Phase
A subsequent Ironman version was completed roughly three years after the Stoneman version.
The Ironman phase will consist of two major sub-phases (contingent on funding):
- Sub-phase 1 (2000-2002):
- Experimentation and trial usage of the Guide
- Promotion of the Guide
- Development of "performance norms" for software engineering professionals
- Sub-phase 2 (2002-2003):
- Development of the Ironman version of the Guide based on the feedback gathered in sub-phase 1 and an extensive review process similar to the review process for the Stoneman phase.
