2013 Richard E Merwin Scholarship
The IEEE Computer Society is excited to announce the next chance for students to apply for the Richard E Merwin Scholarship. Named after a past Computer Society president dedicated to student leadership and academic excellence, this award provides an opportunity for students that have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and dedicated leadership and participation in their student chapter. Students must be in their final two years of their undergraduate studies, or any post-secondary course of study including Graduate, PH.D etc. during the course of the award. The IEEE Computer Society offers $40,000 worth of scholarships yearly to students that show promise in their field of study, commitment to the advancement of their peers, and the capacity to represent the society as a Student Ambassador during the course of their scholarship. The deadline for submission is 30 April 2013.
