Member Discounts

As an IEEE Computer Society member you can save up to 70% off list prices on every order from our store. (Member discounts apply to the first copy of each title ordered.)

You need only have an interest in the field to join. Contact us to find out whether we are currently accepting applications for full-year or half-year memberships. Membership is only $99 for a full year or $49 for a half year.

Ordering Methods

The easiest way to complete your order is via our secure online ordering system . We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

To order by phone:

• Write down the product ID numbers of the items you wish to purchase. 
• Call our customer service staff. The product ID numbers enable us to access the relevant product information easily.

• You may pay using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, or you can arrange with our customer service staff to pay via check or money order.

Methods of Payment

Currently our online ordering system only accepts credit card payments using MasterCard, VISA, or American Express.

We do accept the following additional forms of payment:

• Checks in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.
• International money orders and bank certified checks, denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.

Please note that paying by check or money order may considerably delay fulfillment of your order. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.

Sales Taxes

Please note that our online shopping system is currently under development, and does not as yet automatically calculate sales taxes.

Any sales taxes that apply to your order will be added manually during processing. To inquire about applicable taxes, please contact our customer service .

    Returns Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with any product you purchase from us, call our customer service and give us the opportunity to make it right. We want you to be completely satisfied with any product you purchase from the IEEE Computer Society.

Electronic, downloadable products are non-returnable. All sales of such products are final.

You may return any physical item purchased from the IEEE Computer Society up to 30 days from the purchase date. Note that CD-ROMs are no longer returnable after the seal is broken.
