Distinguished Lecturer Webinar Series Beginning 29 April
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 9 April 2014 - A select group of distinguished professionals and experts in the software technology field will present a series of Web-based lectures, sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society's Certification and Professional Education program. Presentations will begin 29 April and will be made available to professionals at no charge.
The Distinguished Lecturer Series will address current challenges in the field, innovative solutions, and best practices for the advancement of the computing profession.
Featuring a half-hour presentation followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, the webcasts will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. Eastern Time (10 a.m. Pacific Time). The presenters are from well-known tech companies such as Aerojet Rocketdyne, Fujitsu Laboratories of America, HP Labs, and the Software Engineering Institute.
Upcoming presentations will cover topics including big data analytics, value engineering, security careers, developing workforce capabilities, and integrating project management practices with systems engineering.
