IEEE Security & Privacy to Host Cyber War Panel at RSA

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 09 February, 2011 – IEEE Security & Privacy magazine will host a high-caliber panel at the RSA Conference exploring the idea that cyber war is overhyped, while others argue that it is under appreciated. Who is right?

The panel--“Cyber War: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Cyber Bomb”--will feature Cigital Chief Technology Officer Gary McGraw, who anchors S&P’s Silver Bullet Security podcast; Dorothy Denning, Distinguished Professor of Defense Analysis at the Naval Postgraduate School; Anup Ghosh, Chief Scientist and Founder, Invincea; Thomas Herlea, Verizon Business; and Greg Hoglund, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, HBGary.

Open to RSA registered attendees, the panel discussion will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 16 February in Red Room 103 at the RSA Conference at the Moscone Convention Center.
