Nominees Sought for IEEE Division VIII Director-elect
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 9 December, 2010 – The IEEE Computer Society is seeking nominees for the position of IEEE Division VIII Director-elect.
IEEE Computer Society members annually elect a director-elect, who serves one year as director-elect (2012) and two years as division director (2013-2014). A full position description is available at http://www.ieee.org/documents/position-bodmember-generic.pdf.
All potential nominees must complete and submit a nominations form that requires submission of a biography, a list of IEEE activities, and a position statement.
The IEEE Computer Society Nominations Committee will review the forms and recommend a slate of candidates to the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors. The Board of Governors will select its candidate slate at its early February 2011 meeting. Candidates will participate in the 2011 IEEE election.
